iskin – playing as in childhood «

ISKIN is an Argentinean company with a strong emphasis on simple, modern, and elegant pieces that use unconventional materials to integrate art with design.

Born in 2004 of the imaginations of sisters Gabriela and Karina Iskin, these unique collections explore the collision and interchangeability of color, form, and material, with pieces that can be turned, twisted and popped into different colors and shapes.

Adhering to a belief of “playing as in childhood,” these versatile pieces can be worn differently according to one’s mood, such as the Nut ring, which comes with red, gold, black, green and blue bands that can be switched according to preference. The Daydream collection presents various colored dream catchers, with small silver balls that can be moved between the webs.

The newest addition to the collection, a line called Aki, embodies a distinct Argentinean flavor, with its 100% suede leather necklaces or bracelets. Additionally, each person can decide how to wear and assemble the necklace, as well as change colors and play with it.

The ISKIN collection has gained international renown, and has been exhibited across the globe, in such prestigious collections as the MOMA in New York City, the MALBA in Buenos Aires, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museo Guggenheim in Bilbao and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid, among numerous others.

The Iskin collection is an exclusive one. The goal of the company does not lie in mass-market production. Instead, the Iskin sisters hope to attain a distinctive clientele with a deep appreciation for design and innovation.
