The idea behind the design brand tüpo is simple but unique: to turn the alphabet into three-dimensional objects for everyday purposes. Imagine a sofa, a shoulder bag, a keychain, or a pillow in the shape of your favourite letter or number. tüpo offers a wide range of design objects, from pot holders and shoulder bags to upholstered furniture.

Basically, everything began 15 years ago when I started my professional career as a typesetter and worked with three-dimensional hot metal letters. Today, being an experienced designer and typographer, I choose typefaces with expressive letterforms and turn them, partly in co-operation with furniture experts, into tüpo objects. So individual ideas can be realized for people or, even according to a corporate design, for companies.
All tüpo objects are manufactured in Germany!

With tüpo, the old greek word typography (»the art of type«) gets a new and modern interpretation.
