Three FORM# 2011 design prizes awarded to Koziol
No less than three products from Koziol have been awarded the prestigious design prize FORM# 2011.
The salad bowl LEAF, waste-paper bin BABABIN and mixing spoon set MIXXX all convinced the top-class jury of their design quality. All three product designs were created by the London-based designer Cairn Young who has already worked with great success for the porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal and the Italian furniture brand Driade.
FORM# is a design prize for products featured at a show entitled “FORM# – Form aus Handwerk und Industrie” (“form” produced by the trades and industry) – at the international Tendence fair which is held in Frankfurt. The
pieces on exhibit are selected for their innovative designs, product-oriented choice of materials and workmanship, functionality, and coherent overall concept.
The competition is organized by the German Bundesverband Kunsthandwerk e.V. with the aim of highlighting outstandingly innovative designs. The prize has been awarded annually at the Tendence fair since the 1970s.
The winning products are displayed in a special exhibit that caters to the large professional audience attending the fair.
