Just with a little bit of card-board and a good idea, designer Cantemir Gheorgiu created the new fun-accesoir from Berlin. Glasses punched from card-board without actual glasses – this is the Pappbrille. Everyone in fashion knows that at the bottom line it’s all about looks and you better look sharp.

The card-board glasses are available in a variety of editions and each season will see new, individually designed models. Punched from scrappaper and often outfitted with loads of loony material, like tapestries and textiles, the ultimate party outfit is now up for grabs for a small price. Poor but sexy is no longer the slogan for one of the coolest metropolises, but now also a clear statement that looks sharp and comes along with tons of fun.

Conceived as the creative statement against the envogue nerdy hipster glasses, Pappbrille continues to build a following. Together with Marc Aurel, his friend and partner, Cantemir Gheorghiu already sells his Pappbrille all over Europe and in a Pappbrille online shop. As special feauture the young entreprise now makes a strong appearance during events and tradeshows with handicraft workshops where you can design your own Pappbrille.
