for a special feature in french culinary magazine fricote, french food designer emilie de griottes developed dessert tarts that recreate pantone colour swatches. berries, carrots, lemon, candies, and other foods are arranged upon a tart base, whose bottom is iced in white and marked with the pantone colour represented.

"legolize it" is a personal project of fabien bouchard, creator of art and design blog ufunk, and french artist mademoiselle maurice: a self-portrait series where a LEGO figure's head stands in for the face. the photographs were shot without special effects or post-production montage; chosen to be displayed as polaroids because of the nostalgic feel of both this photography form and LEGO.
